Southern Maritime Services is a national maritime recruiting agency. SMS takes pride in getting to know our clients and their crewing needs. We place qualified mariners in positions that will be beneficial to both the mariner and their new employer. SMS believes in long-lasting, personal relationships between our company and each mariner. Once the mariner becomes adjusted to their new positions, SMS will conduct follow-ups. These follow-ups are to ensure the satisfaction of everyone involved and allow for career development.
In addition to maritime recruiting, Southern Maritime Services offers on-site screening for COVID, D.O.T Toxicology and pre-employment screening. All of these screenings can be done at affiliated clinics.
